What Must I Do To Be Saved?

The Road to Salvation- It’s God’s plan of salvation set forth in Paul’s letter to the Romans. The following is a collection of scriptures that set forth a beautiful and simple approach to the gospel of grace by
and through Jesus Christ.

The Gospel of Grace
Jesus said: Follow Me

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We must realize that we are sinners and that we need forgiveness. We are not worthy of God’s grace.

Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” It is through Jesus Christ, God gave us a way to be saved from our sins. God showed us His love by giving us the potential for life through the death of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” If we remain sinners, we will die. However, if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and repent of our sins, we will have eternal life.

Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Just confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you are saved.

Romans 10:13 “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” There are no other religious formulas or rituals~~Call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved!!!

The Road to Salvation: Are You Ready to Accept God’s Free Gift
If you believe the message of the Road to Salvation, and want to accept God’s free gift of salvation right now, here’s a basic prayer for you. This is a guideline for your sincere step of faith.

“God, I am asking for You to forgive me of all of my sins, I believe in Jesus Christ and His death on the cross for my sins. I ask that you come into my life right now, and give me the strength because I am committing my life to You today. I pray this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen, thank God.”
